THE PROCESS

Subject to site specific conditions, Solar Power Network will sign a conditional lease agreement. Complete terms and conditions will be contained in this agreement. We will then complete a detailed roof assessment, design the solar system, perform structural analysis, apply for permits and establish the contract with Ontario Power Authority. We will convert the conditional lease into a firm agreement upon receiving necessary approvals.

While the conditional lease allows 12-months to do our design and due diligence, we expect a shorter timeline to pay the $20K upfront payment and execute the $1000/month lease agreement. With approvals in place, we will deploy the panels and cables on the rooftop. The inverter and meter will be installed in a 10ft x 10ft area near the building electrical room. Once the system is built, we will connect to the local hydro company’s electricity grid.

Our metering and billing are separate from yours. You will continue to be billed based on readings from your own existing meter.
