Leadership Team
Peter Goodman, President and CEO
Prior to founding Solar Power Network in 2009, Peter Goodman served as Chief Engineer at Telus. There, he was responsible for acquiring leases, developing business plans, and overseeing both engineering and operation for more than 1,000 ground and rooftop cellular infrastructure sites. In the course of these responsibilities, Peter managed more than $700 million in capital per year.
Previous to his time at Telus, Peter worked in senior rooftop engineering roles at AT&T Canada and Bell Canada. In total, Peter’s career encompasses 30 years of experience providing leadership direction in the strategic rollout of rooftop infrastructure.
Gary Tsuji, Vice President Finance and CFO
Gary Tsuji has 17 years experience at Telus where he was Vice President Finance and Controller, and a member of the Executive Leadership team responsible for managing $8 billion in revenue. Gary was previously at KPMG where he gained his Chartered Accountant designation.
Jonathan Persaud, Chief Technology Officer
Before joining Solar Power Network, Jonathan Persaud served as Director of Engineering and Operations at Telus where he was responsible for a capital budget of $200 million. Jonathan has, in total, over 25 years of experience leading engineering and development teams.
Greg Porter, Vice President & General Counsel
Prior to joining SPN, Greg gained 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including as: VP, Legal Services at TELUS; VP & General Counsel at TELUS Mobility; and VP & Associate General Counsel at ClearNET Communications. Greg practiced corporate/commercial law at Blakes in Toronto and was Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1992. In 2005, Greg was identified as one of Canada`s Top 40 (40 and under) in-house lawyers.
Doug Deeks, Vice President, Capital & Program Management
Doug Deeks’s project planning portfolio includes such former clients as Hewlett-Packard, Rogers Communications, IBM, and Corus Entertainment.
Charles Bryan, Vice President, Asia Pacific
Charles Bryan’s experience prior to joining SPN involved leading site acquisition, development, and deployment teams on four continents for major technology companies including Nokia Siemens Networks, AT&T, and XM Satellite Radio. Charles’ experience in the wireless communications industry, domestic and international, has seen him acquire and manage over 1000 ground and rooftop sites over the course of 18 years.
Melissa Clark, Vice President Partner Relations and Regulatory
Melissa Clark came to SPN with over 20 years of sales and sales management experience. She has led sales and distribution teams at Rogers Communications, XM Satellite Radio, and Wind Mobile. While with Wind, Melissa managed the sales department which set Canadian telecom history by acquiring over 100,000 customers in their first 200 days of operation.

Wesley Stevens
Wesley has direct experience working in solar project development both domestically and abroad and also served as Associate Director of Navigant Consulting, where he worked directly with the Ontario Power Authority on the Integrated Power System Plan and the Feed-in Tariff program.
